Heartbreaking moment toddler tries to stop ‘mugging’ in Sidcup | UK News

A video has captured the heartbreaking moment a toddler attempts to stop a gang attacking a man and a teenage girl he is with.
The shocking footage shows the child chasing the thugs during the apparent mugging in Sidcup, south east London, on Wednesday evening.
The man and teenage girl were both punched in the face, but thankfully it appears as if the youngster, although clearly distressed by the incident, was not physically hurt.
WARNING: The video contains material some viewers may find upsetting
In the video, shared by The Sun, the man, girl and toddler are walking towards a car and as the girl goes to open it two men in hoods rise from a bench and walk towards them.
One of the assailants then punches the man in the head before the second also gets involved.
The victim then ends up falling on the ground.
Seeing what’s just happened, the girl runs over and tries to drag the thugs off him.
