Several explosions heard next to Old Bailey | UK News
A series of explosions have been heard and smoke seen pouring out from a building beside the Old Bailey court in London.
Power cuts have also been reported in nearby buildings.
A BBC reporter at the scene said lights flickered inside the Central Criminal Court before it was evacuated, and quoted a firefighter saying there was a fire in the part of the building containing an electrical substation.
London Fire Brigade said in a statement: ‘Firefighters are currently responding to reports of smoke coming from a building on Warwick Lane.’
