One-month-old baby dies after being found ill in flat in Scotland | UK News

A one-month-old baby’s death is being treated as ‘unexplained’ after he fell ill.

The baby was rushed from his home in Aberdeen to hospital on Saturday but later died.

Police have been stationed at the property since 6.55am on Saturday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ‘Police received a report of a one-month-old baby boy having taken unwell at a property on Tollohill Square in Aberdeen around 6:55am on Saturday, February 3, 2024.

‘The baby was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he died a short time later. The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.’
