Hunt for missing girl, 17, last seen boarding train to Manchester airport | UK News

An urgent search has been launched for a missing teenage girl who was last seen with a man before getting on a train to Manchester Airport.

17-year-old Lidia Lupo was last seen in person on Saturday – but she was spotted on CCTV at Preston railway station on Sunday catching a train to the airport.

The teenager was seen with an unknown man in the footage, and Lancashire Constabulary say they’re ‘concerned’ for her welfare.

Lidia is white, of a slim build, with dark eyes, dyed red hair and braces.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, white top, black leggings, and white Nike trainers and she speaks with a Romanian accent.

The last sighting of her in person was at around 4.40pm on Saturday on Church Street in Preston.

Lidia has links to Manchester and Oldham.

A police spokesperson added: ‘If you know who this man is, or if this is you, please come forward and contact us as you may have information that can help us find Lidia.

‘If you have any information, please contact us on 101. For immediate sightings please call 999.’
