The three US soldiers killed in a drone strike in Jordan have been identified and include two young women.
Specialist Breonna Alexsondria Moffett, 23, of Savannah, Georgia; Specialist Kennedy Ladon Sanders, 24, of Waycross, Georgia; and Sergeant William Jerome Rivers, 46, of Carrollton, Georgia, when an unmanned aerial system destroyed their container housing units on a base in northeast Jordan, stated the Defense Department.
All three soldiers came from an army reserve unit based in Georgia, the department said on Monday.
They were assigned to the 718th Engineer Company, 926th Engineer Battalion, 926th Engineer Brigade in Fort Moore, and were supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.
