Up to 63 feared dead after Russian military plane crashes and explodes | World News
A Russian military plane has exploded over a city killing at least 63 people.
A video posted to Telegram shows the plane crashing in Belgorod, just 40 km north of the Ukrainian border.
Russian state news agency RIA Novosti reported the plane was transporting 65 captured Ukrainian soldiers for a prisoner exchange.
The caption read: ‘Video of a plane crash in the Belgorod region.
‘Previously, this is a military transport Il-76.’
A woman can be heard crying in the background as the plane is seen crashing in the distance.
