Police refer themselves to watchdog over deaths of family in home | UK News

Norfolk Constabulary has referred itself to the police watchdog over its handling of an incident in which two adults and two children died.
Bartlomiej Kuczynski was found dead alongside his two daughters at a house in Norfolk at around 7.15am on Friday.
He had called police at 6am, but officers were only deployed to the address in Costessey, near Norwich, more than an hour later after a member of the public called 999 out of concern for the people inside.
Mr Kuczynski, 45, was found with a stab wound to his neck alongside a 36-year-old woman who had received multiple stab wounds to the neck.
This evening, Norfolk Police revealed the original call had been made at 6am and said the force has referred itself to the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC).
