Woman dies after two people hit by car at zebra crossing in London | UK News
A woman died in hospital four days after she was hit by a car at a zebra crossing in north London.
Grigoria Yiannoullou and a man aged in his 80s were both struck as they attempted to cross the road in Wood Green.
The 83-year-old and the man were both rushed to hospital following the smash in Bury Road at around 11.15am on November 7 last year.
Grigoria, who is from the Wood Green area, sadly died of her injuries on November 11.
The man was discharged after receiving treatment.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses to the crash to come forward.
Detective sergeant Rebecca Collens, from the Met’s serious collision investigation unit, said: ‘This incident happened on a zebra crossing on Bury Road, close to the junction of Lymington Avenue in Wood Green.

A woman who was driving the car stopped at the scene and has since been interviewed under caution as part of the investigation.
She has not been arrested.
