Man grins after ‘shooting fiancée and brother for doing witchcraft’ | US News

A man who allegedly shot two of his family members he suspected were practicing witchcraft on him appeared to grin lightheartedly afterward.
Wilman Sandoval, 23, was arrested on Sunday and flashed a grin in his mugshot released by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Sandoval is accused of wounding his 26-year-old fiancée and 17-year-old brother, said Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
Deputies responded to an apartment complex on the 7600 block of Fallbrook Drive in Houston, Texas, on Sunday and found two adults shot. Both were transported to hospitals in critical condition and Sandoval was detained.
‘The alleged shooter may have suspected that family members were conducting some type of witchcraft on him, and he was upset about it,’ said Gonzalez at the scene, according to KHOU11.
Sandoval’s fiancée and brother later that day improved to fair condition and are expected to survive.
He has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
