At least 15 people have been killed in an explosion at a fireworks factory in Thailand, a rescue worker has said.
The factory, which appears to have been levelled in images from the scene, was located in the central province of Suphan Buri north-west of the capital Bangkok.
Kritsada Manee-In, a worker with the Samerkun Suphan Buri Rescue Foundation, said between 15 and 17 people were dead.
Thai PBS news reported that the blast happened at around 3.30pm local time at a village in the subdistrict of Suan Taeng.
The outlet said injured were taken to Chao Phraya Yommarat Hospital, and the fire is now under control.
