Epstein ‘filmed sex tapes of Prince Andrew, Clinton and Branson’ | US News
The late Jeffrey Epstein filmed sex tapes of Prince Andrew, former US President Bill Clinton and British business magnate Richard Branson, a victim claimed.
Sarah Ransome, who said Epstein started abusing her when she was 22, appeared to accuse the pedophile financier of recording the tapes, according to a document among a new tranche of files released on Monday.
‘When my friend had sexual intercourse with Clinton, Prince Andrew and Richard Branson, sex tapes were in fact filmed on each separate occasion by Jeffrey,’ wrote Ransome.
‘Thank God she managed to get a hold of some footage of the filmed sex tapes, which clearly identify the faces of Clinton, Prince Andrew and Branson having sexual intercourse with her.
‘Frustratingly enough Epstein was not seen in any of the footage but he was clever like that!’
Ransome, who gave a victim impact statement before British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell’s sex-trafficking sentencing, said her friend reported the sex tapes to police in 2008.
‘Nothing was done and she was utterly humiliated by the police department where she went to report what had happened with Epstein, Clinton, Branson and Prince Andrew,’ Ransome wrote.
Epstein’s attorney, Alan Dershowitz, pointed out Ransome’s emails to argue that she ‘manifestly lacks credibility’ and that her emails are an ‘antidote’ to her ‘deposition misstatements’.
‘Her testimony was fabricated from whole cloth,’ the firm Emery Celli Brinckerhoff & Abady LLP wrote in a letter to the court denying allegations against Dershowitz.
‘Ms Ransome’s testimony also contains a slew of other incendiary claims concerning the sexual proclivities of Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and other prominent individuals.’
Ransome said that she received money and benefits from Epstein in exchange for having sex with him and his friends including Dershowitz. Ransome in 2016 suggested that she had sex tapes Clinton, former President Donald Trump and other figures but could not provide them when asked and told the New Yorker that she invented them to make Epstein believe she had ‘evidence that would come out if he harmed me’.
In a hearing around Ransome’s lawsuit against Epstein for sex trafficking, Maxwell’s attorney mentioned Ransome’s allegations against Dershowitz. Dershowitz denied having ever meeting Ransome.
The latest dump of Epstein files also contained emails that Ransome sent to Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan in 2016 claiming that ex-President Donald Trump had sex with ‘many girls’ including an unnamed friend of hers. It is the same friend she claims slept with Clinton and Branson.
Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, withdrew from his public roles amid criticism around his friendship with Epstein. He also paid millions to settle a case from Virginia Giuffre, who claimed that he sexually assaulting her when she was a teenager.
A US judge ordered court documents containing the names of more than 100 of Epstein’s associates and victims to be unsealed as part of a settlement in Giuffre’s 2015 civil claim against Maxwell.
The first batch of documents, released on Wednesday night, included alleged Epstein victim Johanna Sjoberg’s testimony in which she said that Epstein ‘said one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls’.
