Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin secretly treated for prostate cancer | US News

Lloyd Austin was diagnosed with prostate cancer last month and had a minimally invasive procedure, said Walter Reed National Military Medical Center officials on Tuesday.
‘Secretary Austin recovered uneventfully from his surgery and returned home the next morning,’ said the officials, according to NBC News.
‘His prostate cancer was detected early, and his prognosis is excellent.’
