A pig on the loose at a McDonald’s parking lot caused a wild scene outside one of the popular fast food chain’s restaurants in Ohio.

The large pig could be heard grunting in a video as a law enforcement officer and the animal’s owner tried to get it away from the McDonald’s and corral it on the street where ‘drive-thru’ and an arrow was painted in yellow. They failed.

‘Darn it,’ one of them says in the clip shared by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The pig slows to a walk and the video pans back-and-forth from it to the McDonald’s.

‘There was a bit of oinking around in Springfield this week after a pig got loose and went hog wild,’ said the patrol of the December 28 incident, according to WFLA.

‘Fortunately, Springfield Post troopers were able to assist the owner and get the insu-boar-dinate pig into custody.

‘In the end, the trooper & pig seemed to a-boar each other.’

The troopers and the owner secured the swine and returned it safely to its home, The Citizen reported.

It was not the only time in December that a pig caused chaos in the US.

On December 5, a pig named Albert Einswine led cops on a quarter-of-a-mile chase in Deptford Township, New Jersey. A video of that incident showed the large pig similarly on the side of the road. Cops could be heard saying, ‘Oh my god!’ and ‘You almost got it’.

‘Through the use of de-escalation techniques and the latest technology, officers were finally able to apprehend the suspect,’ wrote the township police department, and proceeded to crack a joke.

‘The suspect was identified as Albert Einswine, a 4-year-old pig from the New Sharon section of Deptford Township. Mr Einswine was released on his own recognizance.’
