South Western Railway experiencing severe delays as Storm Henk strikes | UK News

A number of across the south of England, including those from London Bridge, have been closed after strong winds have disrupted services.

This includes services ran by both Southeastern and South Western railway.

There is no estimated time lines will reopen following the cancellations and delays.

Some railways in Wales have been seen completely flooded, forcing the suspension of services in the west of Camarthen and on the Heart of Wales line.

Scaffolding has also collapsed in Greenwich due to the strong winds, bringing traffic to a halt and causing chaos in the area.

Another set was captured falling to the ground in Sutton in front of pedestrians.

London Fire Brigade has confirmed they have received a number of reports of fallen scaffolding, and urged people to stay indoors.

South Western Railway has recommended not travelling on their routes as the extreme weather has affected their entire network.

Network Rail Wessex has also suspended a number of their services.
