Map shows where weather warnings in place for Storm Henk | UK News

The Met Office has issued three weather warnings, as Storm Henk is set to batter much of the country with heavy rains and wind today.
The highest warning – an amber wind alert – suggests disruption to travel and power cuts are likely, as is ‘flying debris’, which ‘could lead to injuries or danger to life’.
The warning is in place until 9pm and covers parts of Wales, southern England and the east, with winds in these areas potentially reaching up to 80mph.
A lower-level yellow wind alert and a yellow rain alert have also been issued for large parts of England and Wales until 9pm.
All three warnings can be seen on our map below.
The Environment Agency has also issued several flood alerts around the country.
According to the Met Office, certain parts of the UK may experience up to 50mm of rain today, which would be more than half of the average annual rainfall for the whole month of January.
The rain should clear across eastern England tonight, with clear spells and showers elsewhere, heaviest and most frequent in the south and the west. Some rain is also expected at times across Scotland.
Temperatures will sit at around 13°C in London, 9°C in Birmingham, Manchester and Belfast, 11°Cin Cardiff, 6°Cin Edinburgh and 7°C in Aberdeen.
Tomorrow, rain across northern and eastern Scotland is set to ease, the Met Office predicts, while much of the country should see a day of sunny spells and blustery, heavy showers, with hail and thunder in the south and west.
Brits have already been blighted by bad weather across the UK over the Christmas and New Year period, with Storm Gerrit hitting many areas last week.
Revellers also braved downpours on New Year’s Eve, with Newcastle and Liverpool particularly affected.
