Chilling video has been released of ‘persons of interest’ in the deaths of a pregnant teenager and her boyfriend who did not turn up to a hospital for her labor to be induced.

The bodies of Savannah Soto, 18, and her boyfriend Matthew Guerra, 22, were found in his silver Kia Optima on Tuesday. Savannah was supposed to be induced on Christmas Eve, but never appeared.

Savannah and Matthew were found shot dead outside his apartment complex on Tuesday in the Northwest Side of San Antonio, Texas. Their unborn baby was also deceased.

Police on Thursday afternoon released footage of two people of interest in connection with their killings. A second person of interest is seen quickly departing the driver’s seat of the Kia.

‘Clearly it was a heinous act,’ said police Chief William McManus.

Savannah’s father, Pedro Soto, fought back tears as he watched the video just before it was publicly released, the newspaper reported. He attended a vigil for his daughter at Kenwood Park.

McManus on Tuesday had called the case ‘very perplexing’ and said it was not clear if the couple had been killed or if it was a murder-suicide. On Thursday, McManus said it was not likely to have been the latter.

Their bodies may have been left in the car for ‘possibly three or four days’, the police chief said.

‘The medical examiner’s office will conduct a death investigation to determine cause of death,’ stated police on Wednesday.

Savannah was last seen on Friday on the 6000 block of Grissom Road in Leon Valley. She was past her delivery date and was reported missing after missing her induction.

Anyone with information on the persons of interest or the pickup truck are urged to contact the police department.
