Andrew Tate requests return to UK after mother suffers heart attack | UK News

Andrew Tate, the controversial influencer who is being held in Romania ahead of a trial on rape and human trafficking charges, may be about to return – briefly – to the UK.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, the self-proclaimed misogynist said he was planning to request ‘an emergency visit to London’ to visit his mother in hospital after she had a heart attack.
Neither he nor his brother Tristan are permitted to leave Romania, where they also face charges of forming a criminal gang.
The pair were under house arrest until a court in Bucharest relaxed geographical restrictions earlier this year – but are still required to stay within the country.
Both deny all allegations of abuse and trafficking, with Andrew Tate claiming prosecutors have no evidence and are part of a conspiracy to silence him.
In his social media post, he wrote: ‘My mother has had a heart attack and is in hospital. I am going to court tomorrow to request an emergency visit to London.’
