Ex-President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani has filed for bankruptcy after being ordered to pay $148million for defaming election workers.

Giuliani on Tuesday filed for chapter 11 in the US Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York, court documents show. He estimated his liabilities to be between $100,000,001 and $500million.

He made the filing six days after a jury ordered him to pay nearly $150million in damages to two Fulton County election workers, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss.
