Surrey man, 20, arrested for dangerous driving after girl dies | UK News
A girl has died after two cars crashed in Surrey.
The crash happened at around 5.25pm on Friday close to the village of Dunsfold, and involved a black Vauxhall Astra and a white Tesla.
The girl was a passenger in one of the cars and was rushed to hospital with serious injuries where she sadly died.
Surrey Police has not released the age of the child, but the force say her family are being supported by specialist officers.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, leaving the scene of a road traffic collision, and driving without a valid driving licence.
He has since been further arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, causing death by driving while uninsured, and causing death by driving while unlicensed.
Anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage which could help is asked to get in touch with Surrey Police.
