Rush hour misery for commuters after rail routes to Heathrow suspended | UK News

It’s a triple-whammy of travel chaos for Londoners and beyond today as the three major rail routes heading to Heathrow were suspended.
The Elizabeth Line and Piccadilly Line Tube routes are all partly down, Transport for London (TfL) says.
Travellers hoping to just hop on the Heathrow Express are out of luck, too.
The rail link, one of the fastest ways to get to the capital’s busiest airport is out of service due to a broken down train, according to the operator.
On X, Heathrow Express said: ‘Services are delayed by up to 15 minutes or subject to cancellations due to a broken down train.
‘For further travel advice please speak to a member of station staff or contact our Customer Services.’
This leaves those heading to Heathrow with the Rail-Air bus links.
