Man arrested over death of ice hockey player Adam Johnson whose neck was slashed | UK News

A man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after an ice hockey player died during a match.
Adam Johnson was playing for the Nottingham Panthers on October 28 when his neck was slashed by the blade of a skate.
The 29-year-old was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
Adam’s family were watching the match via a livestream when he was fatally injured.
South Yorkshire Police confirmed today that a man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following Adam’s death, and he remains in custody.
