Four more charged over far-right and pro-Palestine Remembrance protests | UK News
Four more people have been charged following hundreds of arrests in London across Remembrance weekend.
The Metropolitan Police say 145 people were arrested in relation to incidents relating to Armistice Day demonstrations.
Hundreds of thousands of people turned out to the protest through central London, and police faced the challenge of controlling the crowd as well as aggressive counter-protesters.

The force has now confirmed four more people have been charged following both the pro-Palestine march and a far-right counter-demonstration.
They said:
- Mark Austen, 58, of Turnford, Hertfordshire, has been charged with three counts of assault of an emergency worker and section 4 of the Public Order Act and was due to appear at Highbury Corner magistrates court on Monday.
- Ryan Ramadan, 25, of no fixed address, was charged with possession of a knife and also appeared at Westminster magistrates court on Monday.
- Raheem Ahmed, 21, of Nottingham, has been charged with assault of an emergency worker and possession of a knife. He is due to appear at Westminster magistrates court on November 28.
- Grigore Flutar, 41, of Clapham, south London, has been charged with section 4 of the Public Order Act and racially aggravated assault. He will appear at Westminster magistrates court on December 5.
So far, eleven people have been charged with offences including assault on an emergency worker, criminal damage, racially aggravated assault and possession of an offensive weapon.
of the 145 people arrested, 91 were arrested to prevent a breach of the peace and were released once the imminent threat of harm had ended, the force said.
