Former head of Spain’s People Party shot in the face in Madrid | World News

A former Spanish political leader has been shot in the face in Madrid.
Alejo Vidal-Quadras was attacked in the centre of the capital city in the wealthy Salamanca area at around 1.30pm on Thursday.
Emergency services rushed to the 78-year-old’s aid in Núñez de Balboa street following the shocking incident.
Mr Vidal-Quadras was previously the head of Spain’s People Party.
