Four people hurt after stabbings in east London | UK News
Four men were rushed to hospital after being stabbed in east London last night.
Police were called to the scene in Walthamstow where four people were found stabbed just after 9pm yesterday.
The incident prompted police to shut down several busy roads.
All four were treated by paramedics at the scene and were taken to hospital.
They have since been arrested on suspicion of affray.
Several roads were closed in the aftermath, with people in the area urged to avoid High Street, Hoe Street and Church Street. All roads have reopened today.
Waltham Forest Council said: ‘We have been informed that there are several road closures following an incident this evening in E17.
‘The roads highlighted in yellow are currently closed (High Street, Hoe Street and Church Hill.) Please avoid the area if you can.’
