A high school in Los Angeles has been placed on lockdown after multiple students were stabbed on Wednesday morning.

Police and emergency medical technicians rushed to Van Nuys High School around 11.00am after receiving reports of a stabbing.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said there were ‘two, possibly three victims’ in the attack.

The condition of the victims is currently unknown.

Meanwhile, the school has been placed on lockdown as police search for the suspected attacker.
