Major disruption expected after ‘points failure’ at London Euston station | UK News
Passengers from London Euston have been left stuck on trains after a ‘points failure’ this morning.
Network Rail says major disruption to and from the capital is expected until 1pm.
A spokesperson said: ‘A points failure at London Euston means all lines are blocked.
‘As a result, trains running to / from this station may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.
‘Major disruption is expected to continue until 1pm.’
It said the routes impacted include:
- Avanti West Coast between London Euston and Wolverhampton / Manchester Piccadilly / Glasgow Central / Edinburgh
- London Northwestern Railway between London Euston and Northampton / Birmingham New Street
- London Overground between London Euston and Watford Junction
