A British man who was serving in the Israeli army has been killed in an attack by Hamas militants.
Nathaniel Young, a corporal in the Israel Defence Forces, died on Saturday as the Palestinian terrorist group launched its onslaught on Israel.
His death comes just weeks after his one-year anniversary after joining the IDF in August 2022, according to his Facebook.
The 20-year-old, from London, was listed as living in Tel Aviv and a member of the army’s 13th Battalion.
His family confirmed his death, adding: ‘We are heartbroken to share that our little brother Nathaniel Young was tragically killed on the Gaza Border yesterday.
‘Funeral and shiva details to follow.’
