Brooklyn subway shooter Frank James sentenced to life in prison | US News

Frank James, the man who fired at subway riders on a crowded train in Brooklyn, was sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to charges of terrorism.
James, 64, was handed 10 life sentences for terrorism and violence against a mass transit system.
The attack took place on a Manhattan-bound N train in April 2022.
Prosecutors said that James created a ‘kill funnel’ in the train car by positioning himself at one end, detonating smoke bombs, and firing bullets into the crowd.
A total of 10 riders, ranging in age from 16 to 60, were wounded by gunfire in the attack.
