Croydon stabbing: Police and paramedics at shopping centre incident | UK News

Police have responded to an ‘incident’ outside of a busy shopping centre in south London today.
Officers were called to Wellesley Road in Croydon just after 9am this morning.
London Ambulance Service and officers from Scotland Yard could be seen putting up a cordon at around 9.15am.
A number of Scotland Yard officers can be seen standing behind a cordon, with one holding up a towel while a paramedic carrying a medic bag crouches to the ground.
‘A policeman said to me and a few other women it was a stabbing.’He said the perpetrators hadn’t been found at this point, they had ran towards east Croydon.’
A London 60 route red bus can also be seen in one picture, surrounded by police cars, with officers standing nearby.
Transport for London has diverted its 60, 407, and 455 routes due to the incident.
