London: Man climbs up Cheesegrater skyscraper with no equipment | UK News
A topless fool who climbed up the Cheesegrater in London without any climbing equipment got what he deserved right at the top.
Footage showed the daredevil climbing the 225-metre-tall Leadenhall Building skyscraper on Friday morning.
City of London Police confirmed a suspect was met by officers on the roof, arrested and later taken into custody.
Chief Inspector Tom Fisher, from City of London Police said: ‘A man has been arrested for aggravated trespass after climbing up the Leadenhall building in the City.
‘We were called at 09.06am and quickly put a cordon in place. He was met on the roof by police officers and taken into custody.’
Photos posted to social media showed how office workers looked on from their own skyscrapers as he scaled the building and it is not known who the climber is or why he did it.
