Three people including girl, 11, attacked by ‘out of control’ dog | UK News
West Midlands Police are investigating after three people were bitten by a dog in Birmingham.
An 11-year-old girl ran past the dog as it was being walked by its owner in Bordesley Green on Saturday when she was bitten.
Two men tried to intervene but they were also bitten and left with arm and shoulder injuries.
All three victims were taken to hospital for treatment.
Shocking video of the attack, shared by the Bully Watch UK campaign group, shows the girl fell to the ground during the attack.
The dog, believed to be a bully breed, was then seen chasing people through the street after the girl was ushered into a nearby shop.
It bit and grabbed onto the arm of a man who had run away to a petrol station forecourt.
The dog involved was taken to a vet to be checked over before being taken to secure kennels.
Officers have spoken to the dog’s owner and they’re asking for anyone with information to get in touch with them.
